Preparing for Your Float

We want to ensure you have the best possible experience. Here are some simple recommendations to help you prepare.

The Day of Your Float

  • Arrive 30 minutes early if you're a new client. This allows time to complete paperwork and get a full orientation.
  • Avoid shaving, tanning, or waxing on the day of your float to prevent any stinging sensations from the salt.
  • We provide petroleum jelly in each Pod Suite to protect any small cuts and prevent stinging.
  • Hair color must be fully set before your float—your shower water should run completely clear.
  • Please reschedule if menstruating—we ask that you reschedule your appointment for your comfort and hygiene.
  • Eat something light 30-60 minutes before, but avoid heavy meals that might make you uncomfortable.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable clothing—there's a lot of salt, so avoid wearing your best clothes.
  • We provide everything you need—spa sandals, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and ear plugs.
  • Float nude for best results—we encourage floating without a swimsuit for the most immersive experience, though suits are welcome.
  • No alcohol or drugs—those under the influence are not permitted to float for safety reasons.
  • Contact lens wearers—we recommend removing contacts before floating to avoid any discomfort.
